I’ve owned 6 of them - all but one had over 200k. At least 2 hit 300.

I didn't say they couldn't last. If you skimp on maintenance and/or if you are payingnothers to maintain/repair, they can get expensive fast.

Some people say the BMW Motorrad F-series parallel twins are a bit boring, so you might end up with something similar to your former Hondas.

Before owning the Triumph and the Ducati, I was actually considering the 900XR because I was happy with the brand. I used to own an F800R, and in hindsight it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great eithe; just kind of meh.

Personally, I enjoyed the Triumph triple much more, and the sound and torque of the Ducati V2 are just something else.

I think that was the previous gen of the F series before this one, that ran from like 2008ish to 2019ish, after that they got the new twin motor. 50ccs bigger and it became a 270-degree crank p-twin instead of the old dull 360-degree.

I could be totally wrong, joojel it.
