2020 Day Trips!

Any ideas for for maybe a 1-3 hour (round trip) ride out Milton?
Maybe catch a good breakfast someone and head back home.

Thinking of doing this tomorrow am before it starts raining.

I'm looking forward to our trip back up to the Soo & Wawa in a few weeks. I'm so burned out of Southern Ontario roads this summer that there's times I look at the bike and ask myself if I want to go ride "that" road again for the 5'th time this year. :cautious:

@PrivatePilot which is why I've hardly ridden this year...I can't do the 500 + km days, and staying around here (Milton) is boring...not to mention, drivers are getting worse...

It could be worse. You could have been working the last few months...

It's the reality that I had a few months off that I'm in this boat. Put close to 15,000km on the bike inside that time period....all in the province.

Getting bored of our roads. By this time last year I'd been to and from Sturgis, did several interprovincial rides, and did Tail of the Dragon, Back of the Dragon, and a big multi day PA/NY ride that got coined the "Taco Bell Tour", but that's another story. ;)

Just completea 2 day ride in Muskoka covering many of Muskoka’s great riding roads including McDonald, Herdville, Bunny Trail, 518, and 632/ 7.

All roads are in great condition

Despite missing my usual May ride to the Gap and Area have somehow managed to put almost 6 k on the bike already. Retirement does contribute to this.

That is actually an R1200 RS flanked by 2 R1200R bikes. The red is mine.
All 3 are liquid cooled boxers.

Hope you are enjoying your New XR

I want an RS...at least I think I do. I still haven’t learned to appreciate the boxer engine. But man it is a gorgeous bike.

So it is! Missed it completely, I blame the phone screen size.
