why they gotta sexify every show and ruin it?

Started watching luther, interesting and different british crime show, then they throw in the random sexual tension ********...smfh

Watched Defending Jacob with Chris Evans (Captain America in the Marvel Universe).

Synopsis: Chris Evans is an Assistant District Attorney. Child gets accused of murder. Lots of foreshadowing to the point you don't know what to think any more.

I give it a solid thumbs up.

Finished watching the Mandolorian S2 last night, pretty solid, still, I dunno something about the show is off. Very well produced visually, but for me there is this weird sense of uncompleteness those little finishing touches, mostly in the form of pacing, and lack of diaolgue between characters, makes it seem they have awkward chemistry.

As well...
The return of Bobba Fet was good, he brought some pizzazz to the show, instead of Mando's mono response to eveything, even though it doesn't makes sense he is alive...
The creepy deepfakes...continue with Luke's appearance at the end of the last episode.

Still the best Star Wars entertainment compared to what we've had recently in the movies etc.

I really liked the Mandalorian. I thought it was the perfect length but I also think that the characters were strong enough to put into a movie length episode if necessary.

This is the Deep Fake done right:

The biggest difference is around the 1:03 mark, when FakeMarkHamill turns his head to look up. The original was so creepy, it took me completely out of it. Also 1:17, the original has a very wax-mannequin look that does not look remotely close to real.

But even with the better Deep Fake, they still can't do anything to fix that dead-eyed look. Technology just isn't there yet.

I think i mentioned it before but i just re-watched 'See' with Jason Momoa. I love this show, season 2 next year!
Just finished watching this, very good. Interesting setting and characters. Even Jason Momoa, he fits his roll perfectly and does very well. Same with Alfre Woodard. Also lots of layered themes playing throughout. I knew the mother was more then she seemed, just by the way she talked and presented herself on some issue. Some foreshadowing when Paris said something was different in her voice. Also that last episode really turned everything upside down.

Because I am me, and somewhat a skeptic, the lack of sight is food for thought for my mind. Silly me would think there would be a lot more trip and falls (there were some). Especially with uneven ground in the setting. Going along with that I suspect it would be hard to even grow food, my mind wanders on the various challenges. But it was interesting to see how they had overcome some of these issues with creative ideas, movement, (with ropes), language/attention (with palm signs, finger snaps, and sounds), I would have liked to have seen more of this. Lastly why didn't they have any books with braille to share the knowledge of the past, there would have been plenty of sources, and they seem to use of form of braille with strings. Maybe this will come up in the next season.

surprised it flew under the radar here.

Honeslty I knew about it. But since it came from a tech company I had my doubts, but then again the content game is becoming everyone's business, so I guess the competition is driving up quality.

I enjoyed Frontier, never watched The West Wing so I'm finishing that up, but will take a look when I'm done. Thanks.

"Totally Under Control" - A documentary that follows the debacle, that was the US Government's response to Covid-19. Lots of interviews with people who were involved, or had experience from previous administrations. Two clips that are particularly powerful are one of the owner of the PPE production facility that Trump toured almost breaking down in front of a Congressional committee because he's getting calls/emails from regular people he can't help, and the former CDC senior bureaucrat who was at the point of tears when talking about how he went against the Trump administrations handling (whitewashing) of information released by the CDC and was fired two weeks later.

watching documentaries lately, watched some dirty money on netflix, and I gotta say, its amusing to go from HSBC laundering drug cartel money to a 2 canadians upset about maple syrup theft :ROFLMAO:

First world problems eh

Don't remember that specifically but if it was, it would either be under my full name or "rmaclenn." I don't have many aliases out there.
