Justin Trudeau – What's with the f**king mustache

The reality is who without looking it up is in the shadow cabinet fop the CPC ?

What is their platform without looking it up ?

The actual reality is they are on the run all the time . They don't pick a side . Scheer was a perfect example . He thought just saying I'm not JT he could win . O'Toole will go down the same path .

I doubt any real conservative media is taking any bailout money .

Hate using the word right as the Liberals made it some sort of ultra nationalist meaning .
Is their any slightly conservative media left? JT has rained so much money on them that most are on his team. Way off on the right you have crackpots like rebel who are way out in the rhubarb. What media sits where MM described his version of the conservative ethos?

As for any media organization rejecting gov't cash as a moral philosophy, that would shock me. They would all take it, some may spin it as using his money against him, being a necessary counterpoint to the media that has been sucking him off for years, etc, but if given the opportunity, I don't think any corporation would reject free money.

Otoole will need to keep his house squeaky clean, threats to the party will require summary purging.

Agree, and it seems he's received that message as he's looking to rid himself of Sloan as we speak.

Pierre Poilievre should be next lest he be the next tool the Liberals will use. Not entirely unrightfully so. Leslyn Lewis should be getting the fuzzy eyeball as well.

If he wants to keep the Trump stink off of himself, then he needs to remove the people who smell of it.

The MAGA hat thing with his deputy minister is rather concerning as well. He's falling over himself to say it was a trick and someone put the hat on her just for the photo (Yeah, sure, I don't buy that at all), crying it was a "dirty trick" by the Liberals to "pull that photo out now", blah blah, but at no point is he saying what he should be saying and distancing himself from that ****.

Come out fast and hard and say "I nor the Conservative party support this and I will be having serious discussions with my deputy minister over this issue". Making excuses and trying to play the "dirty tricks" game and all that nonsense comes across as being more concerned about the politics side of it versus the actual freakin' photo itself. The fact that she's suddenly silent on the issue smells too.

I'd like to be able to vote for the guy, but if I catch a whiff of populism or Trumpism in the party when it comes time to check a box, well, that won't be happening. There are other parties out there. Even if none have a hope in hell of getting in, at least my conscience will be clear.

Fun side fact: Just over 40% of self identified PC voters in Canada believe the USA election wasn't legitimate and it was stolen from Trump.

I would think PP is a strong point for the conservatives, he actually seem stronger then o'toole

Wouldn’t that make him a target to remove any competition from within the party of O’Toole has the support?

He has too many populist tendencies for my liking. And I haven't forgotten his Harper years.

could you imagine the push back if that was to happen, PP has got himself a following
O toole knows pp would never run for leader he just likes pretending to be outraged doesn't want to do anything. He is a classic career politician just waiting for his pension and making a bit of theater to pass the time.

PP - LOL he's going nowhere. He's one of the few politicians who has known common sense credibility and capability. He's also has appeal to Francophones. PP is one of the few who can makes liberals, particularly good at making Trudeau and Freeland squirm, in most of their exchanges they look like they are on a grade school debate squad.

I don't worry too much about photo evidence, particularly if taken out of context. That can be drowned out with series of pics, videos and scandals.

Trumpism huh? Disrespecting blacks, groping women, shitcanning Attorney Generals for not playing coverup games, greasing friends who employed family members, tossing co-cheating friends under the bus to save your ass, and casino scandals.

I think PP is holding out till JT is out . I think he knows CPC will never win till JT is out . He is young enough to wait his turn .

I don't blame him. He's got a young family and the next few years are going to be very hard on a leader. Gain experience, build networks, help strengthen and groom the party to something that can be a long term winner -- then go be PM. PP for 2025.

There are a few things the PC need to do differently when they are in power if they want to make lasting change.

1) Do the hard distasteful corrections early so you can soften up and compete with the Liberal gift shoppe at election time.
2) Eliminate the TV and movie part of CBC.
3) Make civics education a priority for K-12. Canadians as a whole are like hillbillies when it comes to understanding our government. That's a huge advantage to Liberals. It's better that the masses don't understand free healthcare, carbon tax, transfer payments, Quebec entitlements, first western alienation, first past the post etc.
4) Smoke the peace pipe with the Blockheads. Liberals have cemented a lot of QC with transfer payments and patronage programs. The PCs need to understand the long game in QC and align with the Bloc in order to pull Liberal support away from Liberals. The Bloc does OK in non majority years as they hold some power, in majority years they get the dry teat - aligning with PCs gives them something always AND makes it tougher for Liberals as they have to reach outside the handout addicted provinces in the Maritimes and QC.

JT doesn’t give a rats ass about any of us poor folk. He cares about the next election cycle coming up so he can say how he helped Canadians during a time of need. There should be a universal attack on COVID instead this mixed bag of provincial rules. Every province says they’re ready to vaccinate....so where are the vaccines? Where’s our supply?

as I said before I’m not smart enough to have the answers. But I’m also not naive nor stupid to know when politicians don’t give a **** further than their own nose.

The premiers have stalls in the barn. Once Trudeau lets the rats take over the barn there isn't much the premiers can do about the stalls.

The clips I've watched of PP are appealing, pointing out Liberal failures. Then at the end of his amusing rant he hints strongly at removing safeguards to accelerate progress. Liberal Cue: OMG think about the children, the sky will fall.

I think PP advocates practical solutions. The world demand for oil doesn’t change if we stop producing, all that happens is we forfeit our shares and nut punch one of the biggest sectors of our economy.

Planes, ships, chemical producers and motorcycles around the world need fuel for the foreseeable future. Beginning the shutdown of oil and gas in 2021 is a fatal mistake.

Ecologically I'm concerned about our planet. For it to restore itself all humans need to move elsewhere.

One has to look forward but how long. The fumes from an unnecessary trip today might result in the death of a butterfly next summer or next decade. Where does one draw the line?

What if 20 years from now you were down to your last dollar, wishing you had the two bucks you spent on a coffee today? If you didn't buy the coffee you might have fallen asleep at the wheel and died in a crash.

What bothers me is when the decision is money based and on the trickle up principle.
