The best weapon for wasps.........just make sure the can us full as you do not want to run our 1/2 through your attack. Glue gets on their wings and they cannot fly and just fall to the ground.
I used to use hair spray for flies. The overspray is easier to clean off.
Be careful inside as the propellant is propane or butane and explodes.
I took out a ground wasp nest with a two second shot of foaming death spray. That filled the entrance. Any in the nest died from contact or fumes. Any returning died from contact. One treatment and done.
I remember driving across Scugog Island one frog migration night. You couldn't avoid the little hoppers. The popping sound was like driving your car over slimy bubble wrap.
I couldn't imagine doing it on a bike.

That’s an eerie sight. I’ve seen it once, millions of tiny frogs crossing hwy 7 near Kaladar. It was like hitting black ice.

Or are you in dirt digging territory.
I took a shovel and some dirt and just filled in a few bare patches/low spots this year but they weren’t that low.
Edit: filling in low spots is easier than excavating.

I've got a few inches of topsoil and then it's clay. The surface is a mixed bag of bumps and depressions. One spot is developing a sink hole where a tree stump is slowly decaying.
I'm told it's a job for the spring. I'll roll and then aerate. It might take a few years.
I bought a Fiskars manual aerator and it’s a decent workout and I can also use it whenever I want (rather than hiring the big machine thing). It’s made a decent difference to my lawn as has throwing a shovel full of good soil around here and there. I’d just get the cheap big bags of good garden mix from Costco and shovel some here and there throughout the season. You could add grass seed but the patches I did just got grown over eventually over a few weeks. My lawn was rock hard and cracking as it’s very heavy clay. I started putting the garden mix into the cracks too and it’s helped a lot. I also spread fertilizer at the start of the season just after I aerate the lawn too.
Thanks. When we ripped out the hedge I discovered a hidden nook that was useless for anything. I'm going to throw in an old skid and stockpile bags of soil when they come on sale. I never thought of Costco but will check them out.
The one yard totes save a bit but I'd have to wheelbarrow the stuff to the back and watch it turn into a mud pile when it rains
I've aerated my lawn with a battery drill and spade bit on a long extension. Wear safety boots and drill away. As you pull up the bit keep the drill running and it spreads the dirt. No more doggy poop looking plugs. It takes me about an hour to do the back lawn.

The Costco stuff is kind of deluxe, still a good price mind you. Cheapest way are the $1 topsoil bags although I’m probably dating myself here, not sure I’ve seen topsoil at that price for a while.

I do I every few years on my back lawn.
An arborist suggested compost instead of topsoil, it worked wonders. Shovel it on,, rake it in, it’s lighter than topsoil, very easy to move around.
Your grass grows back thru it quickly. After a couple of treatments your lawn will be fuller, and less weedy.
