I so regret not buying an EV instead of my Maverick as a primary vehicle. I have the charger, and I wasn't expecting Doug making us RTO 5 days/week.
Had I known that...EV 100% as the commute is so much cheaper in comparison. No gas. Less maintenance. Less parts. Less noise.
It just works...
Buddy bought 2. VF9 for himself and VF7 for his dad.
They both love them but the tech is glitchy and has spent a bit of time in the shop.
Had a chance to drive both and while very nice fit and finish….the driving experience is dead. No real connectivity to the road. Stupidly quiet and plush...
Good points all around, and the best point is that the answer is ‘it depends’.
Let’s face it both within GTAM and outside there aren’t that many riders that will take their bikes for more than a few hour jaunt regularly and (like me) end our adventure within the daylight hours.
I agree though...
Yup...seeing lots of roofs with so many sides/edges/slopes that it's got to be a nightmare to do.
Ours is simple....2 roofs with fairly small slopes.
Time to start saving.
Agreed. Even some US models can't come to our roads because of slight differences in standards.
Been a while since I looked into it but last I checked it was daytime running lights, and some higher speed impacts to the bumpers slightly over the US standards. Mind you it's been a long time...
My buddy’s boss has a few condos down there.
Buddy is going in a week on company dime and just has to pay his wife’s air ticket.
I’m in the wrong business.
Got home last night and was hoping for the white stuff to be gone and melted by now 🤦🏻♂️
Thankfully the flight left early, and flew faster so we got home an hour earlier than expected.
Thanks for all the recommendations were already talking about where to go next.
Love my Scrambler but a long distance tourer it is not.
Minimal wind protection.
Short fuel range (sub 200km)
Low options for luggage
Outside of that….the sound and ride is fantastic.
Never considered a cruise in all honesty.
Listened to a news bit yesterday where due to Cuba being closed, west coast of MX being ‘dangerous’ all the other destinations this season have gone through the roof to meet the demand.
Many more families choosing cruises. May be something to consider.
Good point. I’d say no more than a 6hr flight with a budget of 8-10k.
Seems the budget is growing every year. This year we came close to 8k. 2 years ago was 6k.
Kids aren’t free any more.
