What kind of heater you running in there @nobbie48 as that’s my first plan.

The air seal around the side door blows so that will need to be addressed (felt it was until these stupid cold days).

Need to think of something to make it more bearable as right now can’t even go in there without feeling a bitter cold.

240 volt plug in

Similar to this, 20 ampere circuit is running 100% but rules were meant to be broken.



P.S. Poor seals also allow in critters that chew stuff. I noticed my seals were also leaky.

I have a 6kw electric heater in my garage. I normally only turn it on when I'm in there. During this cold snap, I have left it on but turned down to keep the garage above freezing. Hydro bill is not friendly but not everything in the garage was prepped to be frozen (things like sprayers may not survive if garage freezes). In normal cold weather down to minus 10 or 15, garage stays above freezing.
