Board on the right will be 4' minus a saw kerf. Making it 4'2" would drive up material costs substantially.

The board on the left is 1” too long, the one on the right 1” too short.

There is this miracle product called plywood , and corner fasteners called gudgeons and pintles . They have been used on stake trucks and trailers for decades . They don’t look like what you built .

This is why I'm here...to learn.

Love the trailer walls dad built...but putting stuff in/out is so frustrating that I'm tired of it already.

Was thinking of cutting the 90deg brackets I have and just using them to brace for the hinges I have on there. Just need to cleanly cut right in the middle.
