worried about rear tire - opinions please

Post 71 doesn't state that "I" need to.
I do it because I like to. For fun.

I don't remember riding with you.
I was probably riding with a group of riders if I did.

When and where did I ride with you???

You cannot ride fast in a group unless you have a death wish.

There's fast, and then there's fast. You know what I mean?

Actually you did, back in post 71, and I have ridden with you, at least a couple of times.

If you're riding slower than someone who doesn't need to steer the rear, in the same circumstances, then either you don't need to do it or your lines suck, so you don't need to do it if you improve them.

No, post #71 doesn't say that 'you' need to. It's states a generic and broad 'need.' That can only be presumed to include 'you.' IUf it doesn't, then the point that you were making is meaningless.

Fuzzy rides. IIRC also one 507 ride*. It would seem that some riders, on that ride, had a death wish since there's "fast" and then there's "fast", and it was the latter than many were doing.

*No, not that 507 ride.

Fuzzy rides are ancient history.
Yes, those rides were fast. But we did ride faster than any ride YOU would have been on.
When we were just a choice few, we would bump it up. Alot.

Those fuzzy rides were slow.

And by the way. I only rode with the fuzzy's on 507 once. And I know you were not there.

If you only rode it once then you're right, I wasn't there. As I said, "Not that ride."

And yes, those Fuzzy rides were slow. The last two, that is. So painfully slow that they're much of the reason why I don't do group rides anymore.

i would have swapped it out long before that ...

why don't you just take the wheel off and bring wheel and tire to a shop to get it swapped ? saves you having to ride on it

I'm 100% sure I never rode with you.
I would remember that if I had.

You've tired and annoyed me.
I'm pretty much done with this thread.
Your questions are pointless, and meaningless and directionless.
I don't care to rebut.
I was actually thinking about reporting you.
And I really don't want to ever ride with you.
You annoy me.
Sorry Rob.

I invalidate post 71.
Check post 101.

I generally (though not always) rode sweep.

You've said nothing to invalidate my comments about post #71.

You don't do it because you have to, but because you want to (if you do it at all). That invalidates your premise that it has to be done.

End.

For the record i rode with both of you couple years back, you're both slow...

Never said I was fast. Actually I'm dog slow.

Only if you want to go swimming, pretend to be a Slinky, or become a literal tree-hugger.

"pretend to be a Slinky"....hah hah hah hah!....thanks - that one actually made it worthwhile to read this whole ridiculous thread!
