What are you currently playing?

I’ve got a PS3 at the cottage that’s not getting much use.

Has anyone modded one to emulate old games?

Once (IF) I ever pull the trigger on a PS5 (if anyone is selling as I missed an opportunity from a GTAMer previously) let me know.

I’ll trust buying off a GTAM member over FBMP for a used unit.
PS3s in good working condition are valuable. You might be better off just hooking up a laptop to a TV and running emulators on that

Haven't played a lot lately myself, replaying Sekiro currently. Was looking forward to Mina The Hollower for ages, but then when it finally came out I hit a wall and fell off it. The combat is 180 degrees out of phase with what normally makes sense to me

Pragmata was good, Saros was great. Probably will play Ace Combat 8 when it comes out, but so far nothing I've seen them show off really makes me excited for it

I have - it's super easy depending on which version you have. And it works GREAT... i have a couple 2TB hard drives with over a hundred PS3 games you can take a copy of if you end up modding yours.

It was a few years ago that I did it, but I followed this guy's video... again, couldn't have been easier and I did it for 3 PS3s without issue:

Should check to see if he has a newer video to follow... the modding tutorials change quite frequently and there is likely a newer one avail to follow these days.

And I have also played retro games on it (nes, snes, genesis, turbo grafx, etc), works super slick!

EDIT - looks like this might be his newest tutorial to follow:

Not played mine since I got a PS4 for the other room. Now I know what my next project is.
