2009 Kawasaki KLR650 - $2,500!
For my fellow troglodytes who hate technology and want a machine that will never die.
ONE OWNER (customer of mine)
Almost all of this one's miles came from a ride from Toronto down to the bottom of South America and back, and then a subsequent trip to the East Coast and back.
It has stories, and will make more stories, but it needs some love first, which is why it's priced at $2,500 - but nothing too bad:
1) Brake pads, front and back (rotors still good).
2) Chain (sprockets are like new).
3) Battery (been sitting for a few years).
4) Carburetor rebuilt (owner tried to do a carb job himself, ****** it all up).
5) Needs a wash (comes with free South American dirt).
Asking $2,500 OBO.
If you spend about $300-$350 in parts, and an afternoon worth of work, you'll have a great motorcycle.
If you don't, you'll have a great paperweight.
Comes with engine guard, spare set of tires, Clymer service manual, ownership, both keys, and pride of ownership knowing you have one of the fastest and most nimblest tractors ever made.
