Love the VFR800. But a 24 year old specimen with 80k…
Not my bag.
I'm with you. It's the reasonably priced thread, and it's reasonable, so it fits here, but... if I had $1800 to put towards a bike, I would pass on this one too.

The VFR's are solid rides but they fit the niche of the Toyoda Corolla of motorcycles.I'm with you. It's the reasonably priced thread, and it's reasonable, so it fits here, but... if I had $1800 to put towards a bike, I would pass on this one too.
This is exactly what I'm looking for...minimum need is 4x8.Log into Facebook

Someone buy this before I do
Two red flags for me: First, ad is 22 weeks old. Second, stored is fine, stored in a field with tall grass and plants underneath is not. If it's actually still available and not just a forgotten ad, I would take a VERY close look at the frame underneath to make sure it isn't full of rust. This is exactly what I'm looking for...minimum need is 4x8.
Parts bike, assuming it runs. Way too much work to get it safetied.Log into Facebook

It's been a long time since I sent a message...no response at all and no indication the seller even read my message.Wow. That is a heck of a price for a lot of bike.

Ducatis have always been the worst bike for depreciation I got beat up every time I've bought one hasn't stopped me from doing it again though

Nice bike ....didn't expect. Not sure I've ever seen a 650 ...used to seeing 500s. V 650....sweet.

I had a Corrado. I loved that car, but I got hit by a car turning left into me and it was never the same. Girls would yell at me on the 405 in LA doing 70mph asking about it. I still sometimes look for Corrados on Marketplace.
FIL didn't have to deal with the pain of owning an out of warranty VW. That's always a win.
Moro Guzzi and April’s must be right up there as well, I figure. Just abominable maintenance cycles…
It sounds as if you've never owned a Guzzi before. Yes, depreciation is high, but I'm in it for the long haul. My V85TT is the simplest bike I've owned for DIY maintenance and little expense.

Great bike but with the soul of an appliance.
