The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

It's sensible to own a handful of motorcycles while living in Canada.

How the **** am I gonna know which one I want to keep if I don't try owning them all?

Crossing at the Canadian side of the border with my second Hawk, the CBSA agent was giving me a hard time, asking to see my phone and then asking about the messages to the guy who sold me my first Hawk a month earlier. She asked if I was buying and selling motorcycles as a business, otherwise why would I need so many? I asked how how many pairs of shoes she had and she grudgingly waved me through without an inspection.

No argument here!!! 🤪

For me, I don't look at it as owning multiple motorcycles.

I have a specific machine for local dirt
I have a different one for faraway dirt.
I have yet another one for street/track.

It's like having different tools in the toolbox.

Sure, you can use a screwdriver to pound nails into a board, but wouldn't it be better to use a torque wrench...?

Why ??? it's awfully cheap.

 yikes that sucks. Thanks for edification.
Buddy here finally sold his mint 2014 CB650F ( open class ) for $4k with 38k km

he had to compete with an identical machine year model and colour ...race to the bottom - last time I checked other guy was down to $3500 - both way below market.
Hard to sell a middle weight open class..... a LAMs version much easier. Wrong time of year but glad buddy sold his. He's heading out a second try on around Australia in the new year after a false start due to insane weather conditions.

Not a motorcycle….but a potentially free trailer for someone in the London region…unless it’s a scam.

$1600 for a clean looking ST1100.

Nothing in terms of mileage. All depends on the service records.
It's only 3400 km a year....pretty low. Looks in pretty good nick. Much fun.
If that was here I'd be considering it.
The highest mileage Honda VFR800s regularly exceed 100,000 miles, with some owners reporting well over 150,000 miles, and even claims of reaching half a million miles with meticulous maintenance, thanks to their robust V4 engines, though significant servicing (like valve clearances, stator/regulator, and wiring) is needed to keep them running strong. Specific examples include bikes hitting 96,000 miles for £500, a 2003 model with 123,000 miles, and a 1994 test bike reaching 155,000 miles with only brake/clutch repaiired
