Curious how the centre stand will work when the bike is 2in lower, probably require a bit of effort to lift. Though with wind deflectors, heated grips, a centre stand, and only 1,850kms, that engine is barely broken in. Can probably buy this, and sell it for over $5k next year easy

Also the sidestand, whenever you lower a bike you need a shorter sidestand or else its too straight. In the pics it looks fine so it must be a swapped one or an adjustable one. I can't tell from the quality of the pics.

That looks really good actually. Paint looks great, original exhaust is in good shape... sounds like it comes with most of what it needs, just needs your time put into it.
 
iv always wondered if you can easily and effectively convert a bike designed to work with wire wheels to cast alloy wheels?

It depends on the bike. If you can find some that fit you'll be fine. Some bikes used to come either way depending on the package you selected (especially adv bikes).
