Figure out what? I am up 7% six months after investing in something reasonably risky. That's not great.
I bought some vfv yesterday. Boring but reliable. I read one of bogle's books and he made some good points.
Was looking at yours and @Scuba Steve comments....but 20,000 shares at $5/each and sell at $20/each...good day.
The more important part is knowing WHAT to play/risk it on.
I need to follow up with my buddy today...see how his SHIBA is doing...should be down to about low $40k right now if my calculation is correct.

Yeah I've never seen a retailer see a jump like that. Not too sure this has any relation to it being a meme stock. At first i thought he meant Blackberry. I'm down 5 % and change on an earnings report from Charles River. Ugh. Was nice while it lasted. Been with them for over a year now, due to Covid, their business has been gangbusters and the market was very good to them...now finally a mediocre report and out come the guns.

Did you sell it at a good time? With the benefit of hindsight, there was an opportunity to quickly triple your money but if you missed it, you missed it and now you are in a position that looks like it is controlled by fundamentals again and that's not good for them (or you).
My buddy just sprinkled 500-750 per coin he liked. Some hit, some died, but overall he’s up.

So Reco lied and was going to exploit an african country so a class action lawsuit was launched and that caused the stock price to jump? That doesn't make sense to me. It's up 15% on the day now.

Reco just has a token amount as a potential flyer. Everything else I hold is less dodgy. I normally follow buffets ideology. It is definitely a lot more volatile than anything else I own. 16% now.
