My sister from New Zealand says their prices are twice ours. FWIW
The only people who think our gas is stupidly expensive are those who really haven’t travelled the world, USA aside for whom that statement is even more applicable. There are literally still people in the southern states right now paying the Canadian dollar equivalent of a little over $1/L who actually still think that it’s overpriced.
Compared to most other first world countries, our gas here is cheap, and gas in the USA would be considered dirt cheap.
Good for gas company profits... not generally for consumers.
Is it? Sales volumes will go down.

Maybe I'm confusing wars with oil spills, either way bit shocking seeing $1.40ish out there, when things were pretty stable for a while, and riding season is just around the corner....
