There are similar prices on ebay, can't see any that have sold for well over MSRP though. Highest so far was a Nexus 5 that sold for $500 ($50 over MSRP)

just took a look on eBay none over $1,000 have any bids on them except a single 10,000$ bid...the ones with bids are all under $500

That's hilarious, as it's still available for iOS on 3rd party sites. If you're running AppSync, the DRM is spoofed, iTunes thinks it's legit, and will archive and sync it as a purchased app.
