Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

There is this miracle product called plywood , and corner fasteners called gudgeons and pintles . They have been used on stake trucks and trailers for decades . They don’t look like what you built .

This is why I'm here...to learn.

Love the trailer walls dad built...but putting stuff in/out is so frustrating that I'm tired of it already.

Was thinking of cutting the 90deg brackets I have and just using them to brace for the hinges I have on there. Just need to cleanly cut right in the middle.

Can the hinge be mounted on the inside surface of the left side piece?

or add a rectangular steel plate behind the existing back hinge piece. Weld it on if that works better.

Haven’t considered moving it to the inside in all honesty. Will check fit later but it would have to be offset from the wall.

A bracket to allow for better connection may be best.

Not sure what’s best here. Will look at some options this weekend.
