Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I’d ask them for replacements. I’ve had a set in my light garden and another in a garage that have been in service for 3+ years with zero problems.

Good luck!
Update.
Contacted Barrina customer support via email as no phone options are available.
Website says they will reply within 24 hours.

They replied within 2 hours.
First they offered to replace with "Like New" units. Return by a customer who bought the wrong item .

I asked for brand new as I feel that is a fair request within warranty period.
If I tried to make a claim outside of the warranty period I would settle for "like new".

They replied back with notification that a set of 6 new 8ft LED lights will be sent out.

I supplied proof of purchase in my first email and they just asked for a photo of the faculty lights and pictures is "QC sticker".
I couldn't get to the sticker today so I didn't supply that but did send a pic of the lights not working.

From the time the first email was sent to the confirmation that a new set is being provided, total of 4 hours.

I must say, I am impressed!!!!!!
I bought them as they were recommended here and reviews were decent but I was still hesitant and didn't have much faith in the warranty or customer service.

I would recommend or buy again.

Good to know! I've still got a handful of 2ft ones laying around but I'm sure their warranty is run out.

Just looking for a place to put them in...the shed seems like the best option but it's not powered 100% of the time as I need to McGyver an extension cord from one shed to the other.

Flip buttoned up!

It's looks fine and probably a million times better than the crap you started with.

I don't know if I have ever seen a horseshoe toilet seat in a house before.
A million is right. It was a crack house, taken over by squatters.

Wife started lamenting about how nice it would be to have set up the above ground pool (which I offered before Poland) but she’s constantly worried about kids jumping in when no one is around.

So she sent me this as a potential project for next season…

It’s actually something I’ve considered. Doesn’t need to be fully imbedded into the soil as it’s only for a 3-5 year timeframe so if it shifts a bit…I’m not too worried.

I don't get it. That makes it easier to get in (and it needs a railing as it's more than 2' tall). Or were you going to build the outside to look like a 5-6' tall fence? That's a lot of money in lumber for a 3-5 year use case. I would not embed anything for that project. Just float the entire deck and pool.

EDIT:
Do you still have the nosey neighbour? Even above ground pools often need building permits (and the deck may too). The more you build, the more likely someone calls. Try to build something that can pass if an inspection is required.

Plan would be to put a 4ft metal fence around it to prevent kids from climbing in.

But may as well just build the fence without the wood and get same result.

For your timeframe, if a fence is necessary in your mind, I would throw up a cheap chain link fence and leave the pool ladder in. The ladder allows anything that accidentally ends up in the pool to get out. Your security line is the fence.

Yup, this is probably the best/cheapest while I figure out a long term strategy...

May as well start digging now as that pool ain't gonna dig itself!

BIL did something like that, but only went 1/3rd of the way around. That was plenty, he had 4 Muskoka chairs up there for the lifeguards.
