That used to happen to us on a regular basis at our last house. The superbox that served our 41-unit townhouse development was rather small and didn't have the larger package areas like some newer boxes. Since the majority of people in that area worked outside of their home, I expect that the carrier would look at how many packages would fit into the box and only take those with them when they left the distribution centre. He/she likely pre-filled the delivery notices for the packages left behind and tossed them into the mail slot. We lived there for five years and never once had a carrier come to the door to deliver a package.Got another card drop today. Dog barked as the driver came to the door, I looked out and saw him leave empty-handed. No biggie - I thought he was an Amazon driver so I didn't chase him down. No ring, no knock.
About a minute later, I went to collect what I expected to be packages and saw 2 Delivery Notices pinned to my door.
2nd time this year.
Your time is worth nothing to anyone.I've experienced that as well. Guess my time was worth nothing.
I reported it by chat on their website. After they asked for the card numbers, I supplied them then no further response in the chat.Report these clowns. If you have video evidence then that's even better.

I'd be shocked if it was a human.no idear who deals with the chat, id be shocked if it was a supervisor.
A bit started things off them handed the chat to a human… or the most incredible AI bot I’ve ever interacted with.I'd be shocked if it was a human.
Seems to me CUPW is living in a fairy tale world. Their company operates in a competive world, they have never come to terms with that.Far I as I know CUPW is not against part time workers. In terms of union dues CUPW collects the same fee for full time, parttime and on call.
CUPW is only against parttime work if there are full time work avaviable. ie. You are part time worker but getting 40hrs of work for long time period but are not guaranteed 40hrs. Whick causes income/jjob insecurity. Canada Post does provide benefits for part-time workers (mininum 24hrs).
Just thinking outloud , not sure how if the parttimer works Saturday and Sunday it would only be 16hrs so that might lead forced overtime which the Union is against.
Another big issuse is called dynamic routing which Canada Post Inc wants to implement. You have check CUPW and Canada Post Inc website to get the details.
How does that explain why CUPW thinks their crew deserve so much more than workers doing the same jobs at every courier company in Canada?Canada Post is a public service corporation. It is foremost to serve the Canadain public with the lowest rates and service every postal code. Other company are designed to make the most profit at the publc expense. Canada Post Corp relies on the Federal Government to force workers back to work. Private companies do not/ can't rely on the government to force workers back to work so negotiation is done post haste.
Canada Post is part of the federal government, hence no audit, no opening of the "books" just blame the workers.
Livable wages are a falicy. Without infinite supply, there is no such thing. All you do is move around who can't afford to live. The bottom 5% cant afford a place to live, the next 10% cant afford food and a place to live, etc.If every person earned 100K, average cost of living would be 110k.Wages reflects the cost of living in Canada. All levels of Government should set the standard on wages for the cost of living in Canada.
I never looked at someone I thought why they should have it better, I think, how can get my situation better like them.
Canada Post provides a public service, just like roads being built and maintain, teacher, police, hospital workers. It has a duty to serve all Canadians no matter where they live. In many small towns across the country, Canada Post is not only neccerssay but is dependant on it. Canada Post could increase the rates to match Fed Ex, USP etc, drop home delivery and close down all the Post Office in the many small towns in Canada. Canadians would end up paying more.
It would be great if individuals could opt out of Canada Post service in return for the taxes saved. No letter mail, no government mail, no packages, no parcel, if some sends something to you by Canada Post it will be returned to sender.. But if you do use it, it the rates will set for "non members"
Anyways , it's not the wages of workers or even CEOs why Canada Post is supposely in the red.
Technically not part of the government.Canada Post is a public service corporation. It is foremost to serve the Canadain public with the lowest rates and service every postal code. Currently CP is paid the least upfront out of all the courier services..but they make it back (imo) on the pension side. How does that explain why CUPW thinks their crew deserve so much more than workers doing the same jobs at every courier company in Canada?
Or why they believe taxpayers should be funding unnecessary services like home delivery… just because.
That line gets blurrier with every $1B "loan" that cp burns in six months or less with zero probability of repayment.Technically not part of the government.
