LOL this is hilarious. If you're too insecure to give your buddy a ride so he can see what the bike is like, tell him to call me. As long as he doesn't try to give me a reach around we're cool.

My bikes max payload with Rider+Passenger is 370lbs. I'm 250 of that. So that means the max weight of any passenger i can carry is 120lbs. The perfect excuse to keep dudes and fat chicks off my back end. ;)

i don't get it ... are you asking for validation of doing it ?

The entire thread is moot. Have any of you guys actually been a passenger on a bike? And have you ridden your own bike?
If you answer yes to both, then you surely know that being a passenger doesn't tell you dick about what a bike is really about....unless you count being totally helpless and dependent. At best the most you'll learn is you get wet in the rain too, and road kill hiding visually in the ditch isn't nearly as hidden as when you drive by in a car. That's about it.

Ok, I suppose if you have a back rest and you have big power, then getting pinned into the seat with more force than all but the most exotic of muscle cars feels ok, but so does taking off in a jet..

Thank you. I thought it was some bike or something...

As for the question...I've given my buddies rides (on the bike you filthy minds!!) if they asked I don't see how it's a big deal.

Disagree. Being a passenger on a bike tells you a lot about what its like compared to a car. Two very different vehicles. Sure being a passenger doesn't feel at all like when you ride because you're not controlling and getting input from the bike but it gives you a sense of whats its like to be completely vulnerable, sitting on something with no seat belt getting propelled and leaned into turns etc.

hop on the back seat when ever, just make sure you put on a helmet, but don't dare to think i'll let you take the 250 all by your self...

I took my 14 year old nephew for a ride. At least that's the story I tell. I dare anyone to disbute the facts.

OK. The Sporty shakes like a paint mixer on 3 legs. I knew he couldn't help poking me in the back. As long as he cleans the seat and doesn't get any on me, I equate it to a dog humping my leg. What are you going to do? Get some peanut butter of course.
