I have an oil pan that came off my previous 2003 gsxr 750 it will fit the 04/05 600 for sure as they're almost identical except the slanted drain plug of the 04/05. The threads for the drain plug are stipped, but they can be easily fixed with a threadsert kit from CT (~$15).
I keep this as a spare, and on my track 03 600 the oil pan is actually fixed with a threadsert.
hey frekeyguy my buddy rod said that you do some great work and the whole forum seems to love you haha. anyways i got a 99 r6 that i just bought. the guy is getting the bike certified but i was wondering if you could clean the carbs for me and possibly changed all the fluids. thanks let me know my number is 647 838 3527
Stormcat outed you! You're close and apparently like working on bikes, so figured I'd throw a friend request at you. I'm really getting interested in working on the 2000 ex500 I just bought, but am very new to riding (first bike) and know next to nothing about mechanics, lol. Anyway, I live near the Forks, so if you're in the area let me know!
My wife and I usually do day trips in central Ontario: forks of the Credit, Orillia for lunch, Peterbourough, Wasaga, mostly the backroads, away from traffic. We are at Scarb/Pickering boarder so it is a few minutes till we are on the country roads. We would like to meet some new people for rides etc... (No vests or badges for me!). Might take a ride to Pelee Island this summer??
Thanks for the welcome to the forum. I can see there are not too many cruisers here, no problem. I just can't get into wearing a black vest with all those crests sewn on like the other cruising groups.
