It seems the term 1% has evolved a fair bit:What does a 1%er mean?
Top 1% family in terms of monetary wealth/influence?
Looks like some sorta gang patch on his leather jacket..

Thankfully the riders were spared. Even with seeing the video I have a problem comprehending what happened.
It looked like a car was coming off the highway and crossed the median into oncoming traffic right in front of the riders...Thankfully the riders were spared. Even with seeing the video I have a problem comprehending what happened.
That looks like Steeles Ave, over the 410. The lights of for the northbound and southbound ramps change at roughly the same time and had just gone green. My guess would be that the vehicle that ended up in oncoming traffic didn't slow for the traffic at the light, that had just started moving, and slammed into the other vehicle from behind.Thankfully the riders were spared. Even with seeing the video I have a problem comprehending what happened.
Allegedly a drunk driver.
I am disappointed that Quik-E-Mart is not the dominant chain of convenience stores in Brampton.in the back room of a Quick-E-Mart.
I won't mix threads here, but this is a direct failure of the justice system.Shockingly common in Brampton. Saw a bystander video of a daytime crash in the Queen and Main intersection. One car was on its roof. A half full 26er had rolled out of the drivers window onto the road. A Peel cop walked over, picked it up, put it upright next to the car's B-pillar, and went to go get one of those little numbered yellow evidence markers. We're talking noonish, driving while drinking hard liquor straight from the bottle. Then there was the guy in the van that went through 4 or 5 backyards on Torbram. They filmed him getting out of the van. Staggered a bit, then puked up bile (liquid) all over his shirt and pants. Guy was hammered. It's an epidemic in that town........And I have a crisp Fifty in my wallet that says neither one of them had valid * insurance.
* valid = a slip NOT printed on a generic home printer in the back room of a Quick-E-Mart.

Catch and release isn't the fault of the cops (most times), but the judges that allow leniency for this type of behaviour.
Just goes to show...riders were doing nothing wrong at all, and could've been both killed in the blink of an eye by a drunk.
Dammit. I don't want to live in a meme.A Toronto lifeguard was patrolling a swim zone on some type of floating vessel and was crashed into by someone on a jetski who just continued on with their day. Guess where the driver was from?

"Tristan Latchman, 20 of Brampton, was charged with dangerous operation of a conveyance."
That definitely needs to be sent to the transit authority for disciplinary action. It's a ***** when you have to make a right at an intersection and your trying to set a new high score on Angry Birds VII.

As the female officer is explaining that the transport driver put the rig in cruise control and left his seat to get a bottle of water the male cop asks "How dangerous is that?"It's not too often I'm at a loss for words.

Not the first time that I've heard of a driver doing that. Not even the first time I've heard of it in Ontario. As the female officer is explaining that the transport driver put the rig in cruise control and left his seat to get a bottle of water the male cop asks "How dangerous is that?"
Could he ask a dumber question?
More than one bale of hay fell off the wagon.
