Went to the bike show at CNE today , e assist out number pedal bikes two to one.
Looked at an E supersport replica, you could not pedal if you wanted to , available “chip” and it does one fifty kph . Test rode it in the designated area , it would smoke most motorcycles in the first hundred feet . Crazy torque .

I bought it used. I think 1999 or 2000.Your Brodie Fury is aluminum, late 90s/early 00s. Paul sold Brodie R&T to Brodie Bicycles in 96. Paul always works in steel.
I’d love to see a close up of those brakes on the Brodie. They look beefy.Break out the asterisks. I forgot about the one-off aluminum "69er" gearbox DH bike he built in 98. Both were built after the sale of Brodie R&T.
