I'm a fairly frugal guy so found this interesting as it's time to replace my BELL helmets soon...probably even at the end of this season.
I haven't been actively looking yet, but looking at my 2 BELL's...it's time to start thinking of replacements. When I watch that video I immediately thought about @bigpoppa 's passengers.
(I hope you are doing alright, amigo and to see you in a burger night , maybe?)
@mimico_polak have you considered the Bell Lithium? I was considering that for my wife. It's ECE22.06, and has an integrated sun visor.
Agreed...at first I thought it was maybe $200USD...but Fortnine is a CAD company...

And not for under $200 and nothing there about offering you half price gloves.
Why does Canada not get those graphics??Xlmoto has a lot more color options: xlmoto
But after shipping and import fee I'm not sure if it's cheaper.
I'm gonna guess it's because the distributor didn't order them, so they just don't exist hereWhy does Canada not get those graphics??
With the exception of a couple of Joe Rocket helmets I don't see any brands I recognize. Most say "exclusive" to Canadian Tire. Don't think I would ever buy one, even for a passenger helmet.Canadian Tire sells a whole bunch of helmets all around the $150-$200 price range:

recognition is pretty irrelevant, if they meet the current ece standard then they're just as good if not better. With the exception of a couple of Joe Rocket helmets I don't see any brands I recognize. Don’t helmets expirewhy?
You can usually buy new liners and visors on name brand helmets.
Don’t helmets expire?
Heat and/or Humidity won’t affect the shell or EPS liner of a helmet
Cold temperatures will not degrade the shell of a composite helmet or the EPS liner.
That's not been my experience. I bought a shoei gt air 2 a couple years ago. Nothing about it is better than previous mid-range helmets I had, and in some ways it's worse (very clunky shield release mechanism). I doubt I'll buy another shoei.I've had a few "cheap" helmets. The comfort and build quality of Shoei and Arai is so much better. You get what you pay for.
