The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Almost don't want to post this, not feeling super motivated to grab it myself right now. If there's a catch I haven't spotted it yet... has "high" mileage but pending inspection I don't think I would care.

What is "Tate european silver frame"? A replacement frame? It looks nice but I don't know of anyone that replaced a frame without a crash.

I think they might be talking about the orange/silver colour scheme that was originally supposed to be Europe only

Edit: This is wrong, see Jayv below

Great deal. I sold my well sorted '14 too cheap a couple years ago and have been thinking about picking up another. Tempted, and if it's got that many kms all the first gen issues are no longer a concern...

There are a few Orange/Black frame 2014's in North America, majority of the ones we got were Orange/Silver.

Bike is well sorted by the list of upgrades, 62,000kms is nothing for these bikes, the only thing you need to watch for is the clutch basket if the previous owner liked to wheelie.

Does the steering damper provide any information on their propensity to go up on one (eg was it prone to get squirrely when ridden on two wheels)?

Steering on these bikes do get squirmy at high speeds. Damper is a good investment, I have 75,000kms on mine lots of times I have thought about getting one, but I am too cheap :)

I owned one... Stupidly unreliable bike, but for $3k who gives a damn.

So purty

Edit: I assume price is a mistake, way too cheap

I wouldn't be so sure. Dealer is related to Donnelly Ford, probably a subprime used car dealership they own. A quick google search for the vin showed that it recently sold for $27k USD. I don't think anyone would be that stupid.

If the price is real, this is the deal of the century.

Edit: Looking through their Facebook page, definitely a scam. Oh well

what gave it away? (apart from the price being too good to be true?)

Their other listings are also way too good to be true, all at different locations without any signage.

Oh and their front page only has posts going back to May 6 and multiple people calling them scammers.

Beautiful old bike with a good price tag. I love these old radians.
