Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

$4000 is still way overpriced.
it was last posted at $1000 I believe and even at that price it isn't worth it. Except maybe in a zombie apocalypse where armoured steeds would be in demand.
For the bike yes. As an art project, maybe? Art has no intrinsic value nor easy comps. If someone wants it and is happy with the price that's what it's "worth" today to that person even if nobody else feels the same way.

early 1980s gold wing. $500

Poor bike. If you are going to leave a project outside at least button up the engine. I wonder what they think you are going to part out from that? Why are some of the parts for these murdered bikes always in a cat litter container?

So you could pick up a brand new 2018 for 16G or you can by his with 33, 000Kms for 16G's.
/facepalm
But that one has an ear bleeding exhaust to up your heat score and guarantee you tickets west of the 400.

"Extremely loud bike, you have to wear earplugs unless you want to go deaf."

It also has "Primary and secondary power commander". Any ideas? Does that mean the factory ECU and a Power commander piggybacked?

Over $5000 in modifications and he has a slipon exhaust, power commander, windshield and tank grips listed. Were the tank grips made of ground unicorns?

Weird tire wear, almost like he only turns left. Must be a NASCAR driver. Maintenance icon says either he hasn't done proper service or has taken it to a shop without Aprilia connectors, neither of which bodes well for what is obviously a squidly rider. Oooh, you got the speedo to read 320 km/h, I'm sure that was at Mosport...

All these suckers who paid sticker price for their Aprilias expecting no depreciation...

Why buy a new 1250GSA when you can get a four year old 1200GSA with 15k km

Has it never been dirty or did they spend the entire winter detailing it? It's probably cleaner than the new bike in the showroom.
