Easier to say that you don't know what is working or not but its clear that they tried to see what is wrong. Or at least to get a spark, as the spark plug boot is the cleanest thing on the bike.
 
Leitner and Bush stickers add $1000, hose clamp holding one header pipe to the engine adds $400. Bike is worth $100, you do the math...

It's ashame that those engines die so often. They had some interesting bikes wrapped around them. I don't even know if I'd pay $500 for a hyo 250 as there is a real chance it doesn't make it out of the driveway before it needs to be scrapped.

I was 100% certain that the ad you posted was going to say "needs engine". A working Hyosung 250 might have a claim to being worth $5000 due to its rarity
