Anyone catch Raised by Wolves?

Shouty robots vs alien creatures. Futuristic religious nuts vs futuristic atheist nuts. Apocalyptic generation ships. And a Chosen One prophecy.

It's like every single sci-fi concept thrown into one movie. But Ridley Scott makes it all work. Saw the first three episodes, eager to see where this goes.

Been watching Wentworth. Older series, Australian take on Orange is the New Black. Enjoying the accents and social characteristics, nice change from NA settings and people.

Started watching Cobra Kai on Netflix.

I had been curious to see it based on the good reviews when it was a YouTube exclusive and 4 episodes in I'm hooked so far.

Probably because I grew up with the original movies, it's pretty cool to see how the story is playing out decades later. Without the history and nostalgia I don't know if it would be as entertaining but if you were a kid in the 80s and liked the movies you'll probably enjoy it.

watching this now. Nearly finished season 1. It’s great!

I enjoyed Cobra Kai -

Excellent is Prime Suspect 2017 which looks at the lead up to the brilliant Prime Suspect with Helen Mirren....5 fascinating seasons if real gritty police procedural. Worth chasing.

Couple that come to mind.

The Method - Russian crime procedural with a brilliant cast and one of them is VERY cute.

Bruce Willis did an admirable cover of one of the Bronson vigilante movies recently. I quite enjoyed it.

I came across some Charles Bronson movie clips on YouTube. Wish I could some get a hold of some of his movies. Check out this clip for you younger guys who don't know Bronson.

Bronson is very well know for the series of Death Wish movies he did back in the mid-70's through 80's. Death Wish 1-5. The 2017 remake starring Willis was decent as well.

Something oddly uplifting to watch someone go out and randomly kill society's scum bags.

Best overall vigilante movie imo is Law Abiding Citizen (2009; on Netflix) Gerald Butler stars in it and turns out to be smarter than the cops and the entire legal system!

Quite enjoyed the first episode of 'War of the Worlds' on CBC. Clearly not a CBC production due to the quality of the episode.

@klr-guy - how would you compare it to the previous iterations of this classic? Is it a re-telling or is it loosely based on the original etc? The remake of the original film with Tom Cruise was pretty good, imho.

Haunting of Bly Manor - bit different and not as good as the first Haunting of Hill House. Nowhere near as scary. Still a decent series though.

As long as there isnt a character that just squeals the entire length of the show it cant be worse then the tom cruise version of the movie..
