So, have they already penalized the party in question for breaking the Federal quarantine order or, was it just a slap on the wrist with a "don't do it again" thing?

" The Government of Canada will use its authority under the Quarantine Act to ensure compliance with the order. Failure to comply with this Order is an offense under the Quarantine Act. Maximum penalties include a fine of up to $750,000 and/or imprisonment for six months. "

The Uliners were granted an exemption from Quarantine by the border guards - no laws broken, as a result no consequences.

The border agent who got thrown under the bus will be fine (gov't officials only get thrown under toy busses made of marshmallow).
 
Only an issue because she is a Republican supporter, that is why CBC worried about it.

Same Canadians who are outraged with Trump and spend all their time trying to “Defeat” him on Facebook and Instagram are the ones who blindly support JT.

I don’t like Trump too, but I can vote for or against JT.

If she were a man and part of the opposition, JT would be talking all sorts of nonsense about toxic masculinity and how men need to be better.
But because she is a woman he basically dismisses the many stories of her toxicity and bullying.

This is the same man who spoke of "gender impacts when you bring construction workers into a rural area".
Cant have frat-boy construction workers around.
Men who might whistle at woman = toxic, assault etc
A high ranking woman who has bullied her colleagues to the point of tears = full confidence in her.

JT is a clown.

Liberal patronage at its finest! With an election coming, I expect a lot of this stuff will exposed -- JT is just plain sloppy with respect to Ethics, we've probably only seen the tip of the iceberg.

I'll bet the PCs have a stockpile of things like this, probably come out one a week -- rolling thunder.

I think it is rich that the person JT cut the legs out from under is a lawyer in charge of anti-compliance/anti-corruption. :) On the other hand, if that guy thought the liberal party was the right place for him, we all know what his real job is and it isn't ensuring compliance.

Yeah I was wondering that too, as you can tell by this thread (which didn't light up) and lack of general media coverage, there wasn't anything.
Oh I guess there was the idea of forgetting about Thanksgiving get together's and well Xmas if things don't go well.
Otherwise just more smoke and mirrors by the Liberals to try and prop up the party.

I've noticed he's getting better at eliminating the Ahhh's and Ummm's lately from his speaking engagements. I'd bet he's hired a speech coach (and he ain't payin' for it out of HIS pocket!!)
