Don't know much about the grom other than it's a cool looking little bike and apparently is a great platform for hooliganism.

This one looks really cool to me, seems to have a lot of money in it but 7500?

Maybe he means you take the bike and $3500 to put it back on the road because he loves honda so much and cant bear to see one mistreated as much as this one has been

The question that comes to mind however, if it's structurally fine and already has all the parts why not put it back together and then sell?

That's always the question. So many ads follow this formula (very easy to fix, I have all the parts, etc). Normally they are accompanied by a ridiculous price. If it was truly easy and you had all the parts, you would put it back together and sell it complete. That sale would go much faster and attract a higher price (although normally still a lot less than the crazy box of parts asking price).

He also has a 91 gsxr that he has 5300 in to so he wont take less than 5400. When will people figure out that you lose at least half of your restoration costs?

More concerning to me is he has a motor for sale from a 2006 749s. So does the bike he is selling have a replacement motor or did he buy a spare from someone else that had the same year/model?

I'm always concerned when the pics only show one side of a bike. Even more concerning when they want a lot of money and are a bit of a hike. Ffs people, kijiji allows up to 10 pictures, no ad should have less than 10 pictures.

Even if it was mint it would seem overpriced. But hey you probably won’t find too many 490 single cylinder 2 strokes with left hand side kickstart buzzing around Ontario trails.

Had to watch a couple of YouTube vids. Cool bike.
