Where to get a puppy?

Siberian huskies. The litter went from my pure white dogs to the usual black and white mix, with a middle dog actually grey with two different colour eyes.

My problem is at least partially that I had a wife and two stepdaughters that used to politely ask the dogs to do things and I had to fight them all the way to tears a few times telling them that they're NOT labradors and you have to be firm with them. They do pretty much anything for me, and the rest of the house is much better than they were at giving them direction. One dog is really heavily food-oriented (blue eyed one) and the other is not so much. But if the two of them are together, instinct kicks in and they will run. If they're out or slip a collar (it's happened) on their own they ignore my calls, I have had good luck NOT chasing them and instead sitting on the ground, which gets them to come to me... but together they just take off. Prey drive is crazy too, they don't even flinch when I am yelling at them if there's something they found that they can kill in the fenced-off area of my property.

Luckily, they only shed twice a year. The first six months, and the second six months.

Siberians can be white, but they can't be 90+ lbs that's way out of Siberian husky range -- fit Siberian males max out at 60lbs, females at 50lbs) and average 50/40lbs respectively. A 'white Siberian' over 65lbs is a crossbreed - usually with Malamutes. It's common for mixed breed Siberian/Malamutes to be sold as 'White Siberians", they are not true Siberians.

The dog in the pic has also has some facial features of Siberian/Malamute crosses -- her ears are slightly offset on the head and not pointing straight to the sky. True iberians have distinctive ears that are set close together high on the head and point straight up at the sky. Malamutes and crosses ears are slightly offset and point 10 & 2 o'clock.

None the less, they re beautiful looking dogs.

Needs to learn to walk on a leash but good pup overall. Super quiet.

Beautiful pup! Where did you get it?

I lost my Chocolate labradoodle about a year and a bit ago and I am just now thinking about getting another. My wife and daughters have allergies so I am limited to the *doodles. All in all amazing dogs - great around people & kids, she loved the water and her favorite thing of all time was boat rides. Ya I definitely need another pup!

Lucy has been great so far. Very affectionate and has had no more indoor accidents.

She’s nipping and biting lightly but her teeth are growing and being replaced so it’s natural.

Overall great experience and she’s now a member of the family.

Great manners with kids, travelling, and was a treat at the cottage.

Plus she lets us know clearly when she wants out.

Biggest issue is her refusal to walk more than 200-300m from the house. But at 5 months and winter, we’re making progress.

If the furball has hound in it then make sure your yard is escape proof. They are experts at escaping. Our rescue beagle used to regularly escape but would come back after a bit but only after begging for pizza crusts at a local pizzeria. We're reasonably sure that’s how she survived when she was a stray.
