Quite the series so far.
Looks like a nice place.
A fake post. Sadly not hard to believe that it would be something he would write.WTF did i just read?
I don't have Twitter / X so cannot confirm or deny...but funny nonetheless as it almost seems like something he'd write.A fake post. Sadly not hard to believe that it would be something he would write.
I think it's probably a much better game for me viewed live.

Do you remember the Hamilton Mavericks playing at Bernie Arbour?True for most sports, but especially for me with baseball. I love heading down to see the Hamilton Cardinals play in the Intercounty Baseball League, around since 1919.
I don't, well before my time in Hamilton unfortunately. I'm always impressed by the quality of play, though. It's obviously a step (or two) down from the majors, but there's lots of guys who have played in the show mixed in. Pretty much every game you're guaranteed to see a great play of some sort.Do you remember the Hamilton Mavericks playing at Bernie Arbour?
I suited up for them, and a couple games with the Cardinals.......(early 70's).
Don't know if they have any MLB affiliation these days, but we had it with the Pirates.I don't, well before my time in Hamilton unfortunately. I'm always impressed by the quality of play, though. Not that I'm aware of. The IBL seems to now mostly be a spot for local kids that didn't quite make it, prospects who've fallen out of the system, and a few guys from Latin America who will play for what I have to assume are pretty tiny salaries.Don't know if they have any MLB affiliation these days, but we had it with the Pirates.
I was considering a wagon/tv/generator as I followwd kids around but weather is making that look less likely.I think Halloween is going to be postponed.
Damn. I didn't think of that. Well, I take the kids out every year, and the wife hands out the candy. If I leave at 7pm, I can be home by 7:30-7:45. Plenty of time. The wife can handle the door as usual.I was considering a wagon/tv/generator as I followwd kids around but weather is making that look less likely.
Buy tickets, and take her to game 7.......should only cost $15-40K!Damn. I didn't think of that. Well, I take the kids out every year, and the wife hands out the candy. If I leave at 7pm, I can be home by 7:30-7:45. Plenty of time. The wife can handle the door as usual.
You made me panic for a moment there.
BUT, if they lose and have to play Saturday, that's an issue. My wife and I are leaving the kid with Nana and Papa, and having a date night Saturday night. I'm not sure she'd agree to watch a Jays game. I may need to play it on my phone with an ear bud in my ear if it comes to that.![]()
People near me way up in the 500 level (above top of Jumbotron) at the watch party looked up prices for Game 6. The seats were in the ballpark of $2k each. Screw that.Buy tickets, and take her to game 7.......should only cost $15-40K!
