Thankfully a quick search and friendly guy in Italy hates that and wrote a code to clear the wrench without needing to go to a dealer.

Ducs are easy, just roll the date back in the display and it thinks it doesn't need a service yet. You can still have the correct day/month visual if you need that, just leave it in 2023
KTM you can reset them yourself.
BMW requires an ~$75 app that, last time I checked, was only available for Android (I have it if I can help anyone out so they don't have to pay) and a ODBLX bluetooth adaptor to plug into the bike. It's easy to do and will pay for itself after it's used a couple times compared to the dealer.

During university I needed a 2k software. Got a free trial and when it ran out I thought ‘they can’t be that stupid that a simple date change on my computer would fool those software’ …
