Good on Netflix for covering these stories

Wonder what will hit Europe and North America in northern hemisphere summer with heat waves already and a monster El Nino in progress.

Moved on to continue watching this very well done rescue series set in an area of Scotland we visited, Very rugged. Hill walkers love it. Quality of the visuals and narration top notch....very real, sometimes bloody.

This is incredibly well made docu series and includes serious solo motorcycle crash, high speed ( 30 mph) quad bike crash by a 9 year old into a fence that he ended up 30 yds from his quad ( very lucky kid to survive ) and :oops: many other traumatic events.
Goes right through to final outcomes and doesn't shy away from blood and injuries....just incredibly well done.

House of the Dragon S3 has begun, and its fire. Pun intended.

I remember Season 1 being a bit hard to get into but this series has turned out to be worth it.

Also, for those that care it's done a decent job of retelling the book, so far.
 
Every time I think it gets more real another comes up ....hit a pine tree off road at 100 kph ...from helmet cam through rescue near death to recovery....no re-creations. :oops: On Prime

Not a job I'd have....interviewed an EMT on screen ...they average one death per shift FFS. Burnout must be brutal.

Just finished Shameless S1 on Netflix.

Some good, some bad…but it pulls me in.

I hope I don’t get sucked in for so many seasons same as IASIP

It's actually quite good, if you like old movies. I watched it in black and white because watching "Werewolf By Night" the second time, in colour, was just a non starter for me. I liked it a lot first and later times.

Teach You a Lesson
Viral Hit
I liked them all, but you have to understand it is created by a different, but similar culture, and allow for some silliness and exaggeration. Viral hit might have been my favourite of the three.
Bonus: It's not woke at all!

I don't know about the rest, but really enjoyed "WonderFools."
 
I got into a run of Korean procedurals I enjoyed and also the original Good Doctor.

I like these -commercials annoying but ....🤷‍♂️
One of the Aussies has never seen snow and ice :oops:
Now my partner and her dottor had seen neither since they were adults so not uncommon.
Some experienced competitors for the 1/4 million prize money but it's a looooooong way from Australia
and there are dangerous animals that they are not allowed to hunt.
I enjoy the back stories
Wen had intended a road trip up through Norway and then down through northern Finland but ran into an unexpected problem with transport right at the top. c'est la vie 🍿

Welsh language is very opaque …quite a different cultural feel from England
… S1 bleak like the landscape....

On to S2 🍿
It's a bilingual show with Welsh and English ...needs the subtitles. Welsh is a tough listen. King Charles was forced to attend a Welsh Uni for a year, learn enough of the language to write a speech in Welsh and give it at the Welsh legislature.. Watching this you gain a lot of appreciation of how tough that a task was. I don't particularly like Charles but props to him for accomplishing that.
