Mackenzie Crook who was Jared in The Office (English version of Dwight) has a new show out called Small Prophets. I am 4 episodes in of the 6 episode series and it is fantastic. Same feel as Detectorists but very different story. Synopsis of the show sounds pretty bizarre, and it is, though much of it is enjoying the characters and their humanity. IMDB describes the show: Eccentric Michael Sleep, whose darling partner, Clea, disappeared seven years ago, sets out to create Homunculi - magical prophesying spirits that can predict the future.
If you like British shows and more so Detectorists you will love this show.

When I did watch it it was on Britbox. Now I believe it is on Acorn. Acorn bought the rights I believe as it is shown as an Acorn original. They did a Christmas special some years after the show ended which was done through Acorn

Small Prophets I watched on BBC iPlayer. Round about way to do this. Someone had all the episodes up on Youtube though that I am assuming has been taken down by now.

Just watched all 6 seasons of Peaky Blinders again in preparation for the film that comes out on Netflix in a few days.

Great series, great cast and great storytelling.

Further into into it - taking unexpected turns and Curtis is seriously annoying.
Kidmans changed face is disturbing as one minute it's different the next she's back...:eek:
and the plot is getting a lot weird....🤷‍♂️

Simon Baker is the only reason I'm interested in this show. The Mentalist may be my second favorite show ever. Nicole's been in another show I forget but looked the same with her "new" face.
