I’m thinking of picking one up at Princess Auto, I’m sure they use a higher grade of Chineseum in theirs.

Princess Auto sells that exact same setup for $350 every few months made by “Big Red”. It’s going on sale in a week or two. Probably made in the same factory in China just painted a different colour. Have you ever actually tried lifting an engine with it? What were the shipping costs? I’m thinking of picking one up at Princess Auto, I’m sure they use a higher grade of Chineseum in theirs.

$125 included shipping. Haven’t got it yet, but I expect it to be the same as every other Chinese 2 ton.

I’ll use it a few times a year, not for hoisting motors, mostly as a little crane for hoisting stuff into the back of my truck or the front ends of bikes

Have you ever actually tried lifting an engine with it?

I borrowed one from a friend to unpack and assemble my 4-post lift. Heaviest component was only about 500 lbs, but it was a godsend for doing it alone.

That's a deal I grabbed one probably better than using my forklift or tractor for these jobs and 125 free shipping is a deal.

Amazing, how can you make something like that in China, ship it here and sell it for $125. You can’t buy the wheels, hydraulic cylinder, raw steel never mind the paint and welding consumables here for that much.They must be cutting corners somewhere.

You can't they are losing money like temu that loses money every sale. There is money being lost everywhere on this some of it is paid by China to keep the factory operating at full capacity.
