They weren't calling for rain today

Anyone else leave on their bike this morning, seeing that they weren't calling for rain until over night, and now gonna get soaked?

It never ceases to amaze me how they call for rain and it doesn't, and they don't call for rain and it does.

Bastards.

Was clear when I left this morning, and started to get really cloudy around noon. Now its pretty much all grey in Woodbridge.
I'm home now so I don't really care if it rains :P
As I recall, yesterday CP24 said it was going to rain the the evening.

A girl came up to me at work soaked to the bone. I was about to make fun of her when the realization hit me...and then she proceeded to make fun of me.
:(
It's coming down hard here in Brampton....and it sure ain't evening time yet.

Sigh. I'm in sauga, need to get back to Markham. Said there was no rain.

What the **** :@

Rain or Shine.....I'm riding.

Yup just got rained on. Not too bad though.

Meh let it rain. Grass needs it anyway...and the rain jacket is in the top case.

I usually keep my rain jacket in my topcase, but lately work has been extra strict with the dress code and I couldn't fit my rain jacket in my topcase with my backpack stuffed in there.

I gotta figure something else out.

and now sun and blue sky peaking through the clouds....

As long as I get to work dry it doesn't matter. Just don't like sitting at my desk in damp clothes (rain suits do leak sometimes)

Depends on where you are...it's already come and gone fast through 409/Hwy 27 area and the sun is starting to peek out again.

There are a couple of us at work who rode in today. At lunch we were all like WTF? It was done here before 1pm so I never got wet when I took lunch at 1:15pm. THough this is the first time my bike has seen rain or wet roads.

Looking at the radar I might be able to slip inbetween the two masses or rain sweeping north eastward as I head North from Brampton to Shelburne.

I've ridden in rain many times and on much more difficult roads....it just sucks that they suck at their job. (Meteorologists)

Though this is the first time my bike has seen rain or wet roads.

Your bike leaves a sheltered life lol If it wasn't for thunderstorms my bike would never get washed.

I ride through all kinds of rain. The day that Toronto flooded, i rode from downtown to Mississauga at the worst hours around 6:30-7 when all those cars were stuck lol Then again next week i chased that insane lightning storm to Niagara which was also beautiful as i mustve seen over a 100 lightnings. None the less, its not fun to ride in rain but it never stops me. Also, theyre still not calling for rain till 10pm. Hope you get home before that

Lol. Desk job: I'm going home early. Why?

-It looks like its going to rain.

I've done it before at both my work places lol people are surprisingly understanding. Some even ask if I made it home in one piece!
