AI doesn't understand how roads nor bikes work. It got the boots but the rider is in deep crap.I'm seeing VSTROM 1000 for less than the 650 version which is shocking to me...but as @GreyGhost pointed out to me, it's probably because the insurance is way more for the 1000 versus the 650.
@oioioi has a nice VSTROM 1000 but I feel it's too large for me physically.

The 650 is more popular for various reasons, better balanced, lighter, and the gen 1 1000 had some gremlins that dont exist for the 650I'm seeing VSTROM 1000 for less than the 650 version which is shocking to me...but as @GreyGhost pointed out to me, it's probably because the insurance is way more for the 1000 versus the 650.

Or the wheels are actually going 100 kph and this rider is pulling off a huge slide. I doubt it is possible to get out of the situation in that pic without crashing.Smokeless AWD burnout!
There really isn't a big difference in size between the two, first generation especially.I'm seeing VSTROM 1000 for less than the 650 version which is shocking to me...but as @GreyGhost pointed out to me, it's probably because the insurance is way more for the 1000 versus the 650.

I'm not much taller than you. You would be fine.I'm seeing VSTROM 1000 for less than the 650 version which is shocking to me...but as @GreyGhost pointed out to me, it's probably because the insurance is way more for the 1000 versus the 650.

Ride the 1000 in the 7k range and have much fun. 100 hp puts it in the same power range as the CBF1000 with more grunt. The Suzuki V-Strom 1000 has a tachometer redline starting at 9,250 RPM (for the 2014+ 1037cc generation) or 9,500 RPM (for the original 2002–2012 996cc generation). Peak power typically arrives much lower (around 8,000 RPM), meaning the engine performs best when short-shifted in the mid-range
650s are available in a Learner approved detuned option here in Aus.....I was very tempted with a 650 Strom here but I'm shrinking -I do like to able to flat foot the CB500FSuzuki V-Strom 1000 is over 424,000 miles (approx. 682,000 km) achieved by a 2003 Suzuki DL1000 V-Strom (K3) on the StromTrooper Forum. The original engine ran deep into high numbers with minimal major rebuilds, showcasing the exceptional durability of the V-twin platform. [1, 2, 3]
It was upstairs with sold sign on it.Did anyone who went to Two Wheel recently see this 2023 Hypermotard 950 still available? The $11k asking price isn't anything special, but if they're really liquidating everything someone might be able to get a sweet deal on it. I would think $10k wouldn't be too hard to negotiate, and if you could get them down to $9k, it would be a steal considering it only has 4,000 kms. Adjusted for inflation, that would be about what I paid for my 2015 in the dead of winter of 2019 and it had 15,000 kms.
