Gorgeous bike that I have a feeling will be very hard to sell. There's no real market for those old sport tourers. They're not collectible, too big of a bike for beginners, and for sport touring something like an FJR can be had for not much more and is likely a much nicer bike all around.

What would they use for tires? Do they swap out the wheels then?
I don't know what they use for tires, probably what ever the tire sponsor gives them.
I don't get to see the finished bikes, just the frames. I was at CMR and got a preview of Josh Hayes 2021 bike.
The bike I saw did have 17 x 3.5 front and 17 x 5.5 rear, with a custom shock, and a chromemoly swingarm (A CMR specialty).
If it is important to you I can find out what tires they use... my stuff is supposed to be ready at the end of the month... like that's gonna happen.

Crap I was hoping to take my son for a 4 hrs course in May.
I don’t think those prices are great for bikes that have been abused
Why do you assume they are all abused?
Most cases they are well maintained considering the potential liability.
Same as when the FAST school sells off their stable every few years.
If you don't mind a couple of dings or scratches they are otherwise maintained VERY well mechanically.
That and the throttles are restricted for the school so the motors are never thrashed.

A riding buddy had one, Swapped bikes and did a 507 pass on his, pulls like a tractor and had fantastic ergos. Not hanging with FJRs, Connies or ST1300s on the podium.how about an Italian FJR?
