he “does not at this time meet the threshold of significant threat to the safety of the public.”

Anyone that supports the Liberal cult is a significant threat to the safety of the public.
We allowed him him as a refugee from a war torn country and then give him an exemption from our laws as he's a refugee from a war torn country. The mind boggles and Canadians die.

I’m not sure if his refugee status played much of a role….but regardless it’s insane he’s let go with only 6 months served, refugee status or not.

Brampton is considering LED crosswalks "to improve safety". Given the appalling driving in brampton, I am thinking the money would be better spent on rising bollards or crash barriers. If drivers don't pay attention to the existing flashing lights, adding more flashing lights just wastes money. The bollard idea would be amazing and quickly clean up drivers that run reds or crosswalks.

One thing for sure is that putting in LED crosswalks will result in people smashing LED crosswalks. At TMU they put in LED puck lights, around certain buildings, as both an architectural feature and as lighting for pedestrians. I think maybe a third of them have been smashed. You want better lighting in crosswalks? Put it OVER the crosswalks, so you can see the people. Oh, and aiming lights upward increases light pollution.

My city council are asshats.

Sounds like Hamilton. People were running stop signs, so the commie city council's solution was to install rectangular red and white reflective sineage underneath the stop signs on the posts.

@ 1:45 - "There will be the question though is it possible the speed was a factor here"

Ya figger? He could have been backing up to park and his foot slipped off the brake pedal. His buddy in the other MacCa could have been spotting him so he didn't get any curb rash.
