Spitting on the street is just bad manners and I've been taught not to do it. I've had to do it once or twice (literally under a handful times) and only under emergency conditions - for example: teargas released in the subway by some punks made me cough like a mofo. If you keep doing it in front of the camera while people are trying to do their job even after being told that you should leave them alone, then you're clearly a clueless moron.

The wife was on a business trip to Taiwan last year, she was disgusted at the common practice of horking all over the place in public.
