Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

After seeing the way democracies work, you'd actually use that method, to pre screen movies for you, especially with Smurf accounts?

"Jay and Silent Bob Reboot"
3/10

Just horrible and dissapointing if you're a fan of the original defining Kevin Smith movies.

Weak acting, weak dialog, weak story.

Smith has lost a little something since he got skinny, and Mewes lost a little something now that he's sober...

I had a good system going by going to movies that Siskel would pan.
Unfortunately, that stopped working about two decades ago.

Watched: Bad Education, was ok, well put together, shot and acted but nothing special. Somewhat predicable, scumbag story though.

Looking Glass. I can't believe Nicholas Cage did this movie. It's really bad. I had to look up the YouTube comments to see if it was just myself.

The guy formerly known as Mladin.
He has made some really bad ones. Ghostrider!!!!
Trapped in Paradise with Carvey and Lithgow was hilarious.

You should see lord of war, pretty good movie

Nic Cage's acting range goes from good to "could I do better?"

Besides Lord Of War, 8MM and Leaving Las Vegas are a great watch. Also Gone in 60 Seconds is not a great movie but a decent way to kill a few hours.

Some guy on Reddit watched ALL of his movies and rated them. Poor guy

Raising Arizona
Wild at Heart
and Leaving Las Vegas, as mentioned

he does better with a strong female lead
I think we all do?

As far as Cage goes,
I enjoyed Kill Chain, had twists, and was better than expected, was surprised.
Crap reviews on rotten tomatoes (Kill Chain), but come on, it's Cage ;)
IMDB: Kill Chain

Well, his best movie without a doubt was "The Rock".
Face/Off was decent as well as the aforementioned movies... but beyond that... well, the pickings get slim...

I kind of liked Sorcerer's Apprentice.

Clicked the first thing on Netflix, The Wrong Missy... Dear god what a terrible movie.

I'm still on my 80's flick list.
Ladyhawke
Hollywood Shuffle
Nine 1/2 weeks.

I couldn't finish any of these movies. They either didn't hold up the test of time or where just oddly told, scripted. Nine 1/2 weeks I have never seen before, I think back in the day it was re-known for the exrotic scene. I think I got to that part and found it to be just weird, along with the "story" up until that point. Plus Kim Basinger, the way they shot her made her look strange, hard to believe.

The Lovebirds, cringey in a few spots, but overall enjoyable light easy watching
