Got home from work last night and caught the original fast and furious on tv. It was worse than when I first saw it at the drive in back in 2001.

Apparently cars back then had 11 gears, and could hit 160mph while taking 4 minutes to cover a quarter mile.

But like any other gruesome accident you just can't look away lol, ended up watching the whole thing.

You need to watch the (first) one Dwayne Johnson is in. There's a scene where they're fighting with guys while trying to board a C6 transport via the landing gear that's taking off on a runway at an airport. It's a good 6-8 minutes long. Never seen a 10 mile+ long runway before.

Just like will the skydive stunts in films. The freefalls last 5 minutes or about 80,000ft from a Cessna.

Baumgartner did 128,000 in under 4

Fast Furious Hobbs - take away the idiotic motorcycle CGI stuff and it was fun and entertaining.

Nah it was a complete bore, and they had little chemistry and jokes.
Oh and the helicopter scene and the whole my brother and family are the only ones to get me outta this mess, lame.

Sent from the moon!

A Star is Born with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga blew me away. It got nominated for 9 Oscars for a reason. I never got around to it until just recently.

The Place Beyond the PInes - a rewatch of an excellent morality tale movie with a lot of great actors... including early days of Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling and Mahershala Ali.

Glass was ok.

I saw Sexy Beast come on again and had to watch. Great movie.

Middle Men was new to me and another great movie. I never heard of it and missed it (2009) but it's a big Hollywood movie. It may not be for everyone with some of the subject matter, but it's a near comedic drama supposedly based on a true story... and what a story. The story line weaves together a crazy story of the invention of paying on the internet by credit card, the pornography industry, the russian mob... and terrorists. A recognized a number of actors and it includes Luke Wilson.

Watched Toy Story 4 with my kids last night, they loved it. I saw the first 3 several hundred times with them when they were younger and it was a great sequel, I think I might have enjoyed it as much if not more than they did, lol. Brought back memories of their toddler years.

El Camino

was nice to be back in the Breaking Bad world
but really not much of a story line
and incredibly slow paced

didn't need to be 2 hours long

I think it was a long walk down memory lane and for the die hards, they can do no wrong.

It was decent. But, it wasn’t compelling. Like a nice home made hamburger. Comfort food but, not looking for more right after.

While I was in Seattle, I saw "The Joker." Didn't know that the theatre was on lockdown, with a cop posted, until my buddy went out to try and 'feed the meter.'

I was afraid that it was going to be an apologist film for one of the most evil characters in the DC universe. I suppose that it could be read like that but, to me, it was a story about the downward slide, of someone who started with mental illness, into full psychosis.

I thought it did that very well too.

Cold Pursuit - Made it about 30mins before I had enough. I may try to finish it another day but it's no "Taken".

Hellboy (2019) - Only made it about 15mins into this one. It's just bad. Really liked the first two.

Spiderman Far From Home - Made it 20mins. It feels very "Made for kids" unlike the others.

Ya Spiderman was terrible, same with the last hellboy, couldn't even watch that one. Cold Pursuit never heard of it, I guess that says all and from your post

Gimme Danger. Documentary on the Stooges. If you're a fan, it's worth the watch.
