I do think using Krown has value ( I wouldn't use it ) but if you read the warranty and see its limits, the chances of actually getting anything covered are slim at best.
Many years ago I had 4x4 Mazda B2600 that I paid for Ziebart rust protectant. Body rusted right through. Actual holes. They paid for all repairs. Painted the whole truck. That stuff was crap.
What would you recommend using?

Nothing. Cars are dipped at the factory. I know VW has a 10 rust perforation warranty. Perhaps others do as well? If a car has history of rust issues, I wont buy.
Business partner has a sprinter van. 2018 and rusting. Krown every year. Still rusting.
Last vehicle I had that had rust issues was an '87 Corolla I kept for 14 years. Some fender rust in year 12. First 2 years of ownership was in Montreal where huge amounts of salt are used to keep winter roads clear.
Typically keep vehicles until they are 7 - 8 years old, never had any rust issues at that age with Toyotas, Hondas or Subarus.
So, IMO, rust proofing / prevention really provides zero value for me and other people who intend to keep their vehicles to 7 - 8 years old. Maybe there are some exceptions to this for vehicles known to rust early in their life, but why would you consciously buy something like this?

2000km drive to eastern Canada averaged 11.2L/100km in the F150. Was in the 10’s but the big hills and construction in NB/NS dropped it and I wasn’t driving very fuel efficiently either.
Even more comfy than doing it in our Odyssey.
Pretty good mileage imo especially with the more aggressive tires I have on it and with only 10k on it likely not fully broken in yet.

I'm considering rust proofing, both our current vehicles will be driven for as long as possible, also living on a dirt road beats the hell out of the underside so any protection is better than none in my opinion. But I can see why some people are against it.

I’ve got a 2023 XLT Ecoboost with 4K, Lux and black out package that I bought earlier this year. Overall I’m very impressed with the truck, coming from smaller sportier sedans.
Truck accelerates well (hybrid much less so), corners well and overall is a decent driving experience.
The interior is horribly cheap and the HMI is horrible also. Doesn’t come with small things that you don’t think matter…but they do. Some examples….i have a physical key, no auto up on windows, cheap seat fabrics, plenty of rattles from the CHEAP dash.
Truck bed is great and I’ve got mine dialed in for best usage for our family.
I’ve towed a 14ft aluminum boat with no issue. I was very impressed with how it handled mild off roading when we went into the bush a few months ago.
Overall I’m very happy and would buy again. While it does have its issues…overall it’s not that bad and I’m enjoying the experience. Wife is even considering a Bronco as she likes my Maverick so much.

As I recall @crankcall had a Bronco at one point.
