North American International Motorcycle Supershow - Jan 9-11, 2026

2026 Plans - A trip to PEI is in the works.
At the show - I'm due for a new set of soft side bags and the KLR needs a rear shock. Maybe some jerky.....

What kind of bags are you looking for?

I have somthing similar to this if you would be intersted.
Older model but in brand new condition.

Haven't been to a show in over a decade. Let me know if I missed anything interesting.

Depends how far away you are, but I always find something interesting at the show. Just being surrounded by all things motorcycle in the dead of winter is soul food.

I'm looking for something larger.

Great, if you're willing to do so, please share your post show thoughts, pictures, purchases, etc.

Those look like a possibility. What brand? I'd like to have a closer look online.
Is each side just one big bag? My last ones had an outer pocket on each bag that was extremely handy.

This show... 'Last time for me was 1992(?)

I'll be in my bunk.
Neither have I. This photo is the last time I was there in 1982, that’s a GPZ1100 I’m sitting on. Note the Scarborough leisure suit I’m wearing. Just kidding, I go to the bike show all the time, I was just looking for an excuse to post this photo. If you look close you’ll see that this bike was an early attempt by Kawasaki at fuel injection, it didn’t work out so good. This picture was actually taken at the bike show at the CNE in January 1982 when they had all the new bikes and wasn’t just a swap meet.

The show is essentially moto social but with vendors instead of bikes. It is as much or as little as you value face time amongst friends and acquaintances. Especially in the winter season, it's great to meet up with faces you may not have seen since the last ride of the year.

With GP Bikes coming back to the show, at least you can 'make back' the cost of admission by discounts on consumables. In previous years, the discount applied to anything in the distributor catalogs so you could even buy brand new gear at the show too and wait for it to be shipped.

As for missed anything interesting, it'll be up to your friends to keep you interested and entertained. This isn't EICMA nor does it pretend to be. It's a bike themed gathering of people and vendors in the middle of off season.

… also a great place to buy tires.

2026 rides: On the more realistic end, doing a few of the "Ride the Highlands" loops, especially the more ADV oriented rides. Otherwise, heading down to the Thunder Bay area would be a dream come true if I can manage to get a longer stretch of time off.

2026 gear: Bike needs a host of farkles (heated grips, better headlight, dash assembly with USB plugs) but some waterproof touring shoes and a more comfortable helmet (MX-9 ADV feels like it's giving me a lobotomy on longer rides) would be nice too.

Just out of curiosity are they having an arena cross super event? I,m getting emails saying if i buy a ticket to that event the bike is also included
