Motorcycle Transportation & Safety Cirtification in Richmond Hill

I am writing to get a few suggestions on how to get a bike from someones garage to a mechanic in this winter weather. Unfortunately I don't drive a vehicle with a hitch or I'd just rent a trailer. Does anyone know of mechanics who provide motorcycle transport services (cheap) ? Other than renting a pick-up and trailer, does anyone have any ideas on how to move a bike around in this weather?

Thanks !

whats your budget? What kind of bike? and will it pass safety?

Sign up with CAA and wait a week then call in a tow :)

I'm having frekeyguy pickup my bike from my garage in Richmond Hill, going to have new tires mounted, blinkers replaced, and to get it safetied. You might want to give him a try - he is very reasonable - lots of reviews of him in the review section.

i used him once when i bought my bike in February. he's friends with a mechanic... and will likely make a pitstop at the shop on the way to drop the bike off at your place.
my bike was saftied by a mechanic... aswell dispite it being questionably saftyable. my rear tire had NO tread left my front right indicator did not work and i was missing the right mirror. he saftied it under the assumption i put down a deposit on tires and fix the other issues myself then when the season starts i ride over to his shop pay him the remainder for the tired.

Ron is very professional his entire fleet of trucks are all specifically built to transport bikes of all types i felt extremely comfortable with my newly acquired baby in his hands.

hope this helps
cheers

Isn't that the guy who got in trouble twice already? Still hasn't lost his mechanics license?
