Guy gets two less a day because the judge that sentenced the co-accused was lenient with their punishment.
The judge that was easy on these animals got promoted and we wounder what is wrong with our justice system.
Third man jailed for Kingsville sexual assault on Indigenous teen
911 operator seems a bit deaf. for the LEOs, life in Florida. How not to be a 911 operator.
Far too often a surety doesn't take their responsibility seriously, likely because the penalties have been so rarely applied. The breach must have been ridiculously obvious.Have to put this one under the good, they also arrested and charged his surety.
That aside tho what the hell are they doing granting bail for this mutt?

Lack of process to handle mental health issues.During a chat with a cop on paid duty yesterday he told me of a call regarding a person in distress, armed with a kitchen knife on a bus. He was removed and released. Next day same person, different bus, same result. Third day, rinse, repeat.

I agree with their position. The OPP and TP are starting to fight back against the courts and the Province. Not only that, they refused to work with Gary the Chipmunk to confiscate firearms. Credit where credit is due.

The last paragraph is more than a little ironic. Only under a blue lens would anyone consider that cops are held accountable for their actions.

I agree 100 percent. Unfortunately, I see no movement at any level to resolve "laws for thee, not me" which is endemic in policing. The blue line and all those that believe in it must be purged. That restores public trust and makes the job slightly easier for the remaining good officers that were unable to do their job with honor and integrity prior to the purge. In general I support the police, I think they have a very tough job.
This said, police forces and individual police officers are rarely held accountable for mistakes they make or deliberate abuse of authority or railroading people in the justice system. The blue wall closes up to protect the system and this results in an erosion of trust and respect for law enforcement, which is unfortunate.
Keep in mind that in some third world countries police are not respected. Immigrants from those countries may cause problems with police officers here.I agree 100 percent. At least those immigrants would be in the minority. Many, many canadians respect the difficulty of the job but not the officers as the system has put officers feelings and immunity in front of every single person they are sworn to protect. That's not the path to respect.Keep in mind that in some third world countries police are not respected. Immigrants from those countries may cause problems with police officers here.
