How long has everyone here been riding?

1980 at 10 years old.
Began street bikes at 16 in 1986, kept doing motocross off and on as well.

So over 35 years. 21 bikes later and it's been glorious so far!

Well, let's see. Started back in 1976 riding friends dirt bikes. Wiped out a few times. Bought a street bike in 1984 after not riding dirt for a few years. Sold the bike in 1996(?) but stopped riding it around 1991. Bought another last year cuz I always wanted another one. Altogether I think I would say 11 years, giver take year or two.

Between last yr and this yr, I'd say a total of 3 months. So far just going out riding for recreation for 30-40 min, not commuting or anything - at least not yet. None of my fam or friends have a bike, where if they did I'm sure I'd enjoy it more giving me more riding time.

Started in 1972 on a Honda z50 , followed by a very brief stint on a 1972 Kawasaki 750 H2 death machine.Bought a brand new 1980 Suzuki GS750 in my last year of high school.Bought a 1980 GS1100 after I saw Art Robbins race one and annihilate everything else on the track.Got another GS1100 (1981).Got out of bikes for a few years then Bought a brand new 1999 Honda VFR800 ,then a 2001 VFR800 ,both fabulous bikes.Im currently riding an St1300 I bought brand new and currently have about 60,000km on it,super dependable but probably the blandest most unexciting bike I have ever thrown a leg over.The 1972 Kawasaki H2 is another story,I still have dreams about that bike.

Forgot to mention somewhere between the GS750 and 1100's I had a 1973 Honda 750 with a 900 kit in it and Mikuni smoothbore carbs.

Only since 2009 for me. Surprised it's been 6 years now. Time sure flies when you get over 25 or so.
