Just being in the right place at the right time with the right equipment.
Dropping my bike off at the shop with a trailer. On my way home via 401 traveling at speed in the middle lane and a few guys in front of me lock up. It's all I can do to follow suit and we're all in a predicament as cars continue at pace to swerve around us (nice!). Turns out a fellow motorcyclist has stalled, and is troubleshooting his no-start predicament on the highway in the middle lane! I helped him onto the shoulder, moved my car and trailed, loaded up his bike and dropped him off at the same garage my bike was at.
One of the most precarious situations I've ever encountered. I figure I saved a life that day while risking mine. I don't know though if he'd still be alive today given his decision-making skills.
